Accessibility Statement

Spanski Law wants every visitor to be able to read this website and request a consultation, including people who use a screen reader, screen magnification, voice control, or a keyboard instead of a mouse. The site is built with the goal of meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium.

• Body text is set at a comfortable reading size, and the consultation form uses large labels, fields, and buttons.
• Every form field has a visible label. When something needs correcting, the message is written out in words rather than shown by color alone, and the cursor moves to the first field that needs attention.
• Pages use headings in order, so screen reader users can move through a page section by section.
• Links, buttons, and form fields can be reached and used with a keyboard.
• Photographs that carry information have text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• If your device is set to reduce motion, the site's animations are turned down or switched off.
• Forms have no time limit. If the page is refreshed partway through a consultation request, the answers already entered are kept in that browser tab.
• The office phone number can be tapped to place a call from a mobile phone.

Some features come from outside providers and may not fully meet the same standard:

• the Google map on the Contact page, whose address is also written out on the page with a link to directions;
• the Google reviews display, which is supplied by a third-party widget;
• the chat assistant, which is supplied by an outside provider; and
• the automated assistant that may answer phone calls.

Everything these features offer is also available by calling the office.

If a page, form, or feature does not work with the technology you use, please tell the firm. It helps to include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser or assistive technology you were using. Reports are reviewed, and problems are corrected where possible.
